DENSE STORAGE SYSTEMS
LIFO (last in first out) Configuration. Drive-In Pallet Rack system used the same entry and exit point for each storage bay. It is ideal for stocking large quantities of relatively few items. Products are stored several pallets deep.
FIFO (first in first out) Configuration. Drive-Thru Pallet Rack system is loaded on one side and unloaded from the other. It is also ideal for stocking large quantities of relatively few items. The products are stored several pallets deep and the lift equipment enters the structure to store or retrieve items.
Pallet flow rack is a multi deep, high density storage system with a first in first out or FIFO method of storage and retrieval. Pallets are loaded at the top end of the slightly inclined rack and glide safely and effortlessly at a controlled pace to the other side. First-in/first-out (FIFO) movement provides optimal product turnover of goods with expiration dates.
Push-Back Rack is designed for high-density, multiple-product storage situations, combining excellent selectivity and a maintenance-free design. This versatile system uses nesting carriages to store pallets up to five deep, providing multiple pick facing with extremely high throughput. Push Back pallet rack is considered LIFO storage. In each lane of push back, the Last pallet In will be the First pallet Out. Conversely, the first pallet stored will be the last pallet picked. You should consider whether time sensitive or dated inventory will be impacted.
